Scholarship Program - 2011/2012

The Omicron Pi Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated is proud to offer you an opportunity to apply for a $1,000 scholarship payable to your chosen institution of higher learning. The scholarship committee will evaluate all applicants based upon their academic record, written essay, honors, financial need, extra-curricular activities, and Dual Credit/AP Courses; to include leadership positions in school and the community.

The due date for application is February 1, 2012. Applications not postmarked by this date will not be accepted. You must complete and submit the 2012 Scholarship Application, along with a written essay and a copy of your current transcript along with a copy of your parent’s previous year income tax return. You will be notified prior to 15 May 2012 of the results.

Additional Information: Our Chapter has implemented a scholarship sustainment program. If you’re fortunate to win an initial scholarship, you’re eligible for additional financial assistance while enrolled as a full time undergraduate student. Please provide a copy of your academic transcript at the conclusion of each semester. Further financial assistance will be based on performance and availability of funds.
