Q-Bucks: Omicron Pi Chapter Provides Incentives for Reading Program

On December 15, 2011, an assembly was held at Ira Cross Elementary School to honor the avid readers who participate in their school’s Reading Program (Q-Bucks).

The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is an international, community-service fraternity. The Killeen-based chapter, Omicron Pi, has been supporting the reading program at Ira Cross Elementary School since 2000.

The Brothers of Omicron Pi presents $700.00 twice a year for the purchase of incentives to the Reading Program. The school’s principal and staff have tracked the growing success of the program since its formation.
